【51CTO记者旧金山独家报道】在2009 Oracle全球大会上，Oracle的首席执行官Larry Ellison公开向IBM叫板硬件。针对前一段时间IT业内对MySQL命运的猜测，51CTO此前也曾报道过《被Oracle抛弃，MySQL将何去何从？》，对此Larry Ellison强调了继续对MySQL支持。但51CTO编辑也对这样的支持到底能有多大的作用持保留态度，MySQL蚕食Oracle市场六成IT设施使用开源软件的情况也是威胁到Oracle自身业务的。

1、Sun将花费更多的资金发展SPARC
