北京时间8月16日消息，据国外媒体报道，尚未正式推出的旅行计划网站Hopper刚刚获得新一轮融资，此次融资金额为1200万美元，由OMERS私募基金领投，OMERS的Derek Smyth将加入Hopper董事会。

Hopper由全球最大在线旅游网站Expedia及旅游社区TripAdvisor主管创建，计划于今年年底推出。作为旅行“发现及推荐引擎”，Hopper与其它创业公司的不同之处在哪里？Hopper CEO Frederic Lalonde认为他们的突出点在于“大数据”。目前，Hopper声称自己已经抓取了“超过5亿页旅游数据”，而这一数字有望在今年年底达到10亿，Hopper也有望成为全球最大的旅游数据库。
