　　新推出的Java版本包括企业用户快速开发、部署Java应用和Web服务需要的所有技术，包括一个应用服务器和一个集成开发环境，具备完整的开发和部署能力，用于交易业务应用、Web服务、动态Web网站和电子交易前台应用。

　　Oracle公司Oracle9i应用服务器科技部执行副总裁Charles Rozwat表示，Java版本价格仅为很多软件工具提供商同类解决方案的七分之一。Oracle9i应用服务器还有标准版和企业版，新推出的版本价格虽低，但它是一个完整的企业级软件包，其性能和功能具备强大的竞争力。

　　Oracle还同步推出了“转换即能省钱”（Switch and Save）迁移方案，希望能通过次方案，帮助更多用户迁移到新发布的Oracle9i应用服务器Java版本。

　　此外，Oracle还为独立软件供应商提供免费的Oracle9i应用服务器Java版本嵌入许可证。
