微软称,SQL Server 2008为关键任务应用程序提供了一个安全、可靠、易管理和可伸缩的综合性数据平台.使用SQL Server 2008,开发人员可创建用于在任意设备上存储和使用任意类型数据的新应用程序,并使用户能够根据相关知识做出明智的决策.
SQL Server 2008 RC0可试用180天,之后自动过期,支持Windows XP SP3、Vista SP1、Server 2003 SP2和Server 2008,推荐使用2.0GHz或更高频率处理器、1GB或更多内存,并需要安装.NET Framework 3.5 SP1、Windows Installer 4.5、PowerShell 1.0、SQL Server Native Client等软件组件。详情可参考这里。
SQL Server 2008 RC0有简体中文、繁体中文、英文、法语、德语、日语、西班牙语、朝鲜语、意大利语等九种语言版本,支持x86、x64、IA64三种架构平台,分为企业版、标准版、评估版、精简版四种版本,提供DVD镜像和EXE自解压可执行文件两种安装方式。
评估版和精简版都不需要密钥,但前者是默认版本,仅供试用,后者功能完整,但只有自解压格式,另外两个版本则需要输入相应的密钥才能解锁,其中企业版是MQWT2-9MKBY-K8PXQ-6K4BW-TY4BD、专业版是HPPQ2-C4V29-PK3V9-9FFBV-YGKM3。
