搞php也有点时间了,看一些技术博客经常看人提到lua.在什么情况下会用到lua?需要熟练使用吗?我想知道phper需不需要懂lua.

游戏开发中用lua作为 脚本 语言绑定，编写逻辑，
比如

lua 特定是 小，精简，特别适合嵌入式(openwrt web控制界面就是用lua写的)

说实话lua和php没什么关联，lua的目标是嵌入其他语言中开发，一般在游戏中开发中用的比较多，也有人用过lua做web开发，但是这东西开发web相当没意思，什么东西你都得自己造轮子。php写个应用，啪啪啪，一下完事提交代码，你要用lua写什么都得自己写，秃头是必然的。
php的lua关联比较近的可能是在Web服务器这边嵌入的lua开发的功能
lua在web方面一般用于写接口，因为lua性能更好，还可以结合nginx写防刷逻辑，非常good
